The music on this album has a smooth jazz feel to it. The lyrics
are also very smooth. Lots of talent went into this record from
the instrumentation to the various male and female vocalists.
Speaking of vocalists, American Idol finalist Donnie Williams
makes a special guest appearance. The message here is one of
inspiration and hope. The title "Steps" alludes to 12 Step
programs for overcoming addiction. Clearly this is something
very close to the hearts of those involved in this project. Also
much of this record's proceeds will go towards a scholarship
fund for talented, yet at risk youth. To quote the press release,
"If it wasn't for the help our record producer received as a
young person from people who were strangers there would be
no 'Steps' CD." When we put all of these factors together, we
have a record that is on one hand streetwise, and on the other
