Ayla Stackhouse's music is teen pop at its vey best. Her Debut sinigle " Somebody Who Loves
Me" was written by her and is catchy and upbeat ala Miley Cyrus/ Demi Lovato.

Ayla Stackhouse was blessed with an apropos name because this talented teen is ‘stacked’ with
talent. The Detroit-native is a natural-born singing sensation fortified with operatic training, jazz
chops, budding capabilities on three instruments (classical piano, guitar and clarinet) and a
passion for writing her own songs. Though her schooling has been in loftier realms of music, Ayla
is determined to craft a pop album that connects to kids her age. All of this and much more is
evident in the music of her debut CD, produced by multi-faceted Motown veteran Michael B.
Sutton.

“Ever since I was little I’ve been watching Disney Channel,” Ayla (pronounced “Ay-Luh) says with
a laugh. “I love opera and my father – who’s also a singer – taught me jazz, but I don’t want to
sing just that music for the rest of my life. My musical lane will be something like Pop-Rock-R&B-
Alternative…a list of styles all mushed together!”

The centerpiece of the collection is Ayla’s” debut single “Somebody Who Loves Me,” inspired
after she read the book “The Last Song” - a novel written expressly for Miley Cyrus to bring to
the big screen. “It’s a story about a dark ‘emo’ girl whose father taught her to be this amazing
pianist, but when her parents split up, she decides she never wants to play again…until she
meets a boy who changes everything for her. Then she breaks through and blossoms.”

Ayla also wrote Falling,” a wistful and blissful delight in ¾ waltz time that sweetly reflects the
feelings of a young girl experiencing the magic of love for the first time. Ayla composed the song
on her signature pink guitar. “I wrote ‘Falling’ in 8th grade with my best friend Katelyn,” Ayla
shares. “I did the music and we worked on the lyrics together. I’d bring my guitar to school
everyday then during recess and lunch I’d sit on the bench outside, play and try to write songs. I
wrote ‘Falling’ in ¾ because I just love the way it feels…it’s the Chopin in me.”

Bravely funneling shades of her own life into her artistry, Ayla is in the mature process of
overcoming emotional challenges of coming from a broken home. Though divorced, her parents
are united in their support of and desire for their daughter’s success. “My mom taught me
everything about fashion and style,” Ayla says, smiling. “She’s the one who picked out my pink
guitar.” Ayla received much encouragement for her gifts and is blossoming into a remarkable
young lady in her own right. One would be hard pressed to find anyone who works harder or
wants success in the entertainment world more.

After a youth of living abroad around the world and acting in shows like "The King
& I" and "Hello, Dolly," Alyse let herself be convinced a career in the arts was
irresponsible and impractical. Because it is.
But with three degrees from the University of Washington in very responsible
subjects and a short career with a Big 5 consulting firm, Black was nigh suicidally
depressed.

Against the recommendations of her family and friends, she left her job and began
busking on the streets of Pike Place Market for a living, belting and lilting swing
tunes a capella on the corner of Stewart.

One rare glittering afternoon, the pianist for a Seattle jazz group, Mike Withey with
No Jive Five, wandered by, stood captivated for a moment, and the explained: he
needed another singer for a show that night at a local club, St. Clouds in Madrona.

Alyse’s first album, Too Much & Too Lovely, won 1st place in Billboard’s 16th
Annual World Song Contest (Jazz) and the International Independent Singer-
Songwriter Awards (Jazz) among others. Her sophomore album, Hold Onto This,
was recorded and produced by Ryan Hadlock (The Strokes, Ra Ra Riot, Foo
Fighters) and released in late 2009.

Los Angeles, CA –May 4, 2011 – Cuban-American music sensation Pitbull invites listeners to
discover the new world of sounds he created for Planet Pit, the hit-maker’s sixth album. Available
on June 21, the new album unites Pit’s rapid-fire rhymes and billion-dollar beats with musical
influences from around the world to create a one-of-a-kind sound.

His experiences growing up in Miami combined with his recent global success influenced the
album’s rich mix of styles, says Pitbull, whose given name is Armando Christian Pérez. “It
embodies a bit of everywhere I’ve been,” he says referring to his recent globe-spanning tours. “I’
m trying to be the ambassador; the bridge builder who brings elements from all over the world
and puts it all together so it sounds like nothing you’ve ever heard before.”

Pitbull teams with Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer for the new single from Planet Pit, “Give Me
Everything.” Already climbing the charts, the song is poised to pick up where Pit’s multi-platinum
smash hits “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” “Hotel Room Service” and “Hey Baby (Drop It On
The Floor)” left off. Like the star-studded single, the album is filled with pop music luminaries
such as Marc Anthony (“Rain Over Me”), Chris Brown (“International Love”), and Kelly Rowland
(“Castles Made of Sand”).

To give Planet Pit its edge, Pit surrounds himself with many of today’s hottest artists, including
appearances by T-Pain and Sean Paul. To blend the album’s diverse sounds into a seamless
flow, Pit tapped top producers like David Guetta, Afrojack (“Something 4 The DJ’s), RedOne,
Polow Da Don and DJ Frank E. In fact, Pitbull’s “Come & Go” marks the first time ever that super-
producers Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Max Martin worked together with Pit.

Pitbull’s just off a wave of featured smash hits with Usher’s “DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love,” Enrique
Iglesias’ “I Like It” and the Jennifer Lopez current mega single “On The Floor.” He will promote
Planet Pit this spring with several high-profile television appearances along with a number of
concerts. Known for his electrifying performances, Pit fuses his fierce rhymes, sizzling pop hooks
and swaggering stage presence with the raw energy of a live band to create a spontaneous
atmosphere. “When the congas are pounding and the bass is thumping behind me,” says Pitbull
“nothing can touch me.”

Even with the new album and upcoming concerts, Pitbull still found time to introduce Voli, his own
line of premium, low-calorie vodka and a partnership with Sheets, the dissolvable energy strip.
The entrepreneurial ventures are the latest for Pitbull, who also successfully launched his own
Polo Grounds Music/J Records imprint (Mr. 305 Records) and inked major sponsorship deals with
blue-chip brands Kodak, Dr. Pepper Bud Light and is now ready to introduce the planet to Mr.
Worldwide.

Dave Grohl has gone on record that he never had youthful aspirations to be lead singer of
a rock n roll band. So as a cassette demo became Foo Fighters’ platinum 1995 debut,
Grohl was tasked with the career of a bonafide rock n roll frontman—one whose
sophomore release The Colour & The Shape in 1997 went double platinum and yielded the
hits Everlong, My Hero and Monkey Wrench. Borne by the hit learn To Fly, 1999’s platinum
There Is Nothing Left To Lose netted the Foos their first Best Rock Album Grammy and
2002’s One By One resulted in another Best Rock Grammy and a fourth platinum plaque.
For 2005’s In Your Honor, the band faced the self-imposed challenge of creating a double
album opus, each disc showcasing a polar opposite of the Foo Fighters’ trademark sound—
and triumphing with the biggest first week sales of the Foos’ career to date. The monster
arena tour and subsequent intimate acoustic theater tour (documented on 2006’s
Skin+Bones) inspired the enlisting of the expanded eight-piece Foo Fighters lineup on
2007’s Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, whose Grammy-winning run was capped by an
intimidating two-night booking at Wembley Stadium for which all 170,000+ tickets sold out.

The forthcoming Foo Fighters record, due out spring 2011, poses the band with possibly
the ultimate challenge: Taking the band from the stadiums of the world—such as the July 2
& 3 Milton Keynes Bowl shows for which all 130,000 tickets blew out within hours of on-
sale--back into Dave’s garage. For a group of world class musicians who have recorded
everywhere from Abbey Road to their own state of the art 606 complex in Southern
California, the gauntlet begs the question: Can they still rock a garage? Can they still bash
out a dozen or so barn burners (no ballads this time, thank you very much) that rock as
hard as the formative years that yielded the rough hewn melodies of “Monkey Wrench,”
“This Is A Call,” “Everlong” “Learn To Fly” and “My Hero?” With Butch Vig at the helm and
guests ranging from Grohl’s former Nirvana bandmate Krist Novoselic to Bob Mould, this is
precisely what they aim to do.

The music of singer/songwriter Rosa Wallace displays a fusion of
styles, from airy lullabies to pop rock anthems. With influences
including Folk, Blues, Country, Classic Rock, and even Musical
Theatre she explores life through her frank lyrics, combining warm,
rich vocals with folk-inspired guitar.

Rosa Wallace grew up in Raleigh NC, and began songwriting at the
age of twelve. During the early years spent honing her skills in various
punk bands, she always took time to write alone, whether in
notebooks at school or on the walls of practice spaces, using an old
classical guitar that her mother had played in college. Sifting through
her parents' vinyl collection, she found a second home in the sounds
of Folk, Blues, Soul, and Classic Rock.

Wallace continued to write songs while studying musical theatre in
college, and while she worked her way across Europe and Asia for the
following three years. Her exposure to countless musicians across the
globe and her own equally diverse musical history have influenced her
compositions, while her astute and straightforward observations lead
to a directness in her lyrics that can be both humorous and painfully
honest. Her songs are tiny portraits of all life offers: love and loss;
mischief and atonement; success and failure; but most of all, the
power of a resilient spirit. She currently hails from the earthly paradise
of New York City.

In her debut release, Wallace has paid tribute to her roots in hard rock
while staying true to her core acoustic pop sound. Wallace wrote the
songs of "Space To Be Free" while traveling the globe from 2007-
2010. As a collection, the EP is a representation of Wallace's genre-
spanning songwriting, creating a fusion of alternative rock, pop, and
country: from Rock anthem “Bad Example” to Folksy lullaby “All Fall
Down,” from Country-inspired confession “This I Know” to Blues
love ballad “Something So Heavenly.”

Wallace's music has recently been featured on the Jellyfielders Podcast
in the UK, Ann's Musical Menagerie Podcast in the US, and has been
selected for broadcast on multiple radio stations across the US. She is
represented by WCL Music in the NACA college market.

The Return of Bowling For Soup
Music Genres:
Indie / Alternative
/ Pop / Punk / Rock
Having been in constant creative demand for over 17 straight years, pop-punk uber-
band Bowling for Soup clearly has no problem kicking out fresh songs, ridiculous
videos, and album after album of music that sets the bar for their genre. Even after
nearly two decades together, some things are the same. They still call Denton, TX
home, they still are putting out an avalanche of new music every year, and they’re still
the guys you’d cut class with to get a beer and a Hot Pocket. For a band that has had
only one personnel change in 17 years, which is a remarkable feat by any standards, it’
s clear that the team stays tight and that ain’t gonna change. As much as things are
the same, however, recent times have brought massive changes for Bowling for Soup,
and some things are very, very different and completely awesome.

At the core, Bowling for Soup is still Jaret Reddick, Erik Chandler, Gary Wiseman, Chris
Burney, and 3 generations of loyal, ravenous fans. As of Fall 2009, though, the partner
no longer at the party is Jive Records. Jive and the guys parted ways on good terms,
but sadly just four weeks after the release of Sorry for Partyin’. Away with the label went
all promo plans for the album, and no single from the record was ever released to
radio. Though they were shell shocked, the decision not to slow down was obvious.
Rather than spend a couple years trying to get ownership of Sorry for Partyin’ from Jive
so they could release it themselves, Jaret locked himself in a room for a month and
wrote the songs that have become their latest release, Fishin’ for Woos.

Available worldwide on April 26th, 2011, Fishin’ for Woos is their response to being
label-free for the first time in years and deciding to go balls out as an independent
band with a mind-blowing fan base. “The only pressure we felt was not to make a
record just to fill the space and keep things moving,” says songwriter/frontman Jaret
Reddick. “It had to be just as real as everything else we’ve done.” It worked. Fishin’ for
Woos is the classic Bowling for Soup sound and energy, led by marquis tracks “S-S-S-
Saturday”, “Girls In America”, “I’ve Never Done Anything Like This” featuring Kay
Hanley of Letters to Cleo, and “Turbulence” featuring Gabriel Mann, who is 1/4 of The
Rescues and composes the music for mega hit TV show Modern Family. Also making
its full-production debut is “Guard My Heart,” which will make legions of fans very, very
happy. Written by bassist Erik Chandler for a film called Sardines, the rough demo was
leaked to fans online in 1997 and became a monster favorite around the world.

Being able to include “Guard My Heart” on the record simply because they want to is
the nutshell of where Bowling for Soup is at right now. “The freedom is amazing,” says
Reddick. “If we want to release a new record every 6 months, we can. If we want to
make a Christmas album, or remix album, or sing in a Disney project, we can. We don’t
need to get anyone’s permission.”

He’s not kidding about the Disney thing. In 2008, the creators of the Disney cartoon TV
series Phineas and Ferb, which is hailed as one of the most-viewed cartoons in the
world, asked Jaret to expand the Emmy-nominated 30-second theme song into a full-
length radio single. “Today is Gonna Be a Great Day” is the result, and the song and
music video have become fixtures on Radio Disney and the Disney Channel. Since the
first one went so well, Disney has since invited Jaret back to write several more songs
for Phineas and Ferb, have cast him in a recurring role on the show as the voice of
“Danny,” the lead singer of the band Love Handle, and have included both Jaret as
“Danny” and Bowling for Soup as themselves on the two Phineas and Ferb Christmas
albums, and several other releases. All in all, the Disney thing turned into a pretty
sweet deal, and in addition to making them heroes to their kids, it reconnected Bowling
for Soup to fans young and old.

While keeping their fans of all ages fat and happy on BFS music and TV goodness, the
guys have kept right on doing what they’ve done from the start: the road. Having
literally played around the world several times, including Cuba, Australia, Japan,
Belgium, Italy, China (twice), thousands of shows in the US and 26 separate tours of
the UK just since 2000, these guys know the road. “You gotta stay busy to stay
relevant,” remarks Jaret. “Plus, we love what we do. It’s our job to play music for
people, and we love our job.” In 2011, “the job” will include April in the UK on an
acoustic tour headlined by Bowling for Soup and supported by Erik Chandler’s solo
project The Mulberry St. Socialites and People On Vacation (Jaret’s other band), and
then May/June shows in the US before spending July in Asia playing for the U.S.
Military. After Asia, it’s back to the US for college shows in August/September and then
a full-force full band UK tour to drop Fishin’ for Woos on the world.

Some things, like their endless touring schedule and love for their fans, are the same.
Other things have changed. It’s not like they thought, “hey, pretty soon we’re gonna be
cartoons without a record deal playing shows for the military across Asia.” That’s just
how it went down, and in solid BFS-fashion, they’re using it as fuel and killing it. Plans
and deals and ideas get different, get weird, get gone. Some things, though, like fans
and friends and kick-ass music stay exactly the same. Some things will never change.
They’ll just grow.

One of Miami’s most captivating performers, Marti grew up listening to
various styles of music. However, it was the House scene that really made
an impact on her and inspired the desire to perform as well as create
music that moved the masses! As a native of Miami, Marti began singing
as a child. She entered various talent shows to get in the performance
arena. As a teenager, she joined local Gospel groups and local bands
where she sang back up and lead. During this time she developed a love
and appreciation for all forms of Dance and House music. It was around
then that Marti tried her hand at writing her own material and went into the
studio to start the process of recording her first single titled “Jump.” Much
to her surprise and delight, every DJ she gave the single to would play it
immediately upon hearing it in the club. When people kept on dancing and
started asking for more, she knew she was on to something! Combining
sex appeal and charm, Marti’s sultry low tones and heart stopping high
notes were prevalent in recordings, concerts and showcases with local as
well as nationally and internationally known acts. She also has recorded
for Universal Latino on several projects and is now in the process of
completing her first Dance album due out later this year. Marti’s talents as
a singer and songwriter combined with soulful warmth and an
approachable attitude wins over her audience and will have you asking for

2AM Club know how to throw a party—and it’s not one you’re going to forget the next day. Funk, pop, rock, blue-eyed soul, hip-hop, new
wave, and electro all converge to create a genre-bending sound that’s completely unique, instantly relatable, and practically begging to be
danced to. These six 20-something guys—singer Marc Griffin, emcee Tyler Cordy, guitarist Matt Reagan, keyboard player Dave Dalton,
drummer Ian O’Neill and bassist Matt Warshauer, AKA “Sauce”—bring a diverse array of influences to the table (Jay Z to the Beatles, Duran
Duran to the Beastie Boys, Stevie Wonder to The Strokes), effortlessly synthesizing the very best of all that has come before them to create
music that is resoundingly modern.
One part Seattle, one part Bay Area and one part Northeast, the group came together in Los Angeles in 2007 and honed their skills playing
the local college scene before heading up and down the West Coast, booking, producing, and headlining their own gigs. After recording
some demos with Jerry Harrison—a former member of the Talking Heads and Modern Lovers—2AM Club played a now-legendary four-
month residency they called “Tiny Porno” at the Derby in L.A., and word quickly spread that it was the place to be: “We wanted to create an
environment that wasn’t like the typical L.A. promotional circuit,” says Sauce. “We wanted something raw, sweaty, dark, and disgusting. It
turned into a huge thing.”
2AM Club’s shows never fail to explode with energy, heightened by the hyperactive musical tango between Tyler and Marc’s vocals, and the
way that the band—named for a beloved Bay Area bar known for being a welcoming chill spot for a random assortment of locals—honor
their moniker by making their shows an all-inclusive, unpretentious good time for all who attend.
“Our idea has always been to try to break down the fourth wall,” says Tyler. “A lot of bands play for the audience while the audience just
stands there. We wanted a different dynamic. Everybody’s in the room and we’re all listening to music, we should be experiencing it
together. The Tiny Porno shows were crucial because they exploded with that kind of crazy energy.”
With a buzz like that, it was only a matter of time before the labels came knocking, and 2AM Club signed with RCA Records in September
2008. Since then, they’ve relocated to NYC, where they’ve been sequestered in the studio with seasoned producers Sam Hollander and
Dave Katz (Boys Like Girls, Katy Perry, Gym Class Heroes), recording tracks for their debut album.
With live crowd-pleasers such as “Flashing Room” (a thumping, ode to sex that’s a bit more than casual, featuring soaring 80s-esque
synths, sly rock riffs, and a sky-high chorus), “Hurricane” (a seductive slow jam that unspools into panoramic pop), and “Let Me Down Easy”
(which sounds like what might happen if Eminem body-slammed New Edition) already in the bag, expect rip-roaring rock riffs, punchy new
wave-inflected synths, ass-shaking hip-hop beats, clever wordplay (exhibit a: “she left her cares on the bedpost, next to her lipstick and her
Mentos”), and a dash of good old Motown-style soul. In other words, expect a record full of unique and entirely creative cuts that span a vast
musical landscape.
While there may be touches of everyone from Prince to Maroon 5 to Justin Timberlake to D’Angelo in their DNA, the interplay between Marc’
s smooth singing voice and Tyler’s effortless staccato flow makes 2AM Club sound completely fresh. They also lay strong emphasis on solid
songwriting (an effort that involves the whole band), giving them a lyrical and melodic sophistication that’s rarely seen in groups so young.
2AM Club’s songs may be predominantly about sex and girls, nights out and lights out, but they’re also inventive, intelligent, and shot
through with real sentiment because they’re written about things that are actually happening in the band member’s lives.
“Pop music has been made for so long, a lot of it has obviously become cliché and hackneyed,” says Tyler. “We’re hoping that if we can
make it a little bit smarter, we can take it somewhere new and cool and exciting. It comes down to a bigger idea of love and conflict and
greatness and bullshit. I think most people can identify with that, but then on another level it’s also just super dumb drunk party music—you
can take from it what you will.”
“I think we’ve all always wanted to be saying something with music,” adds Marc. “That’s why we started out in poetry slams and doing hip-
hop. We may be making music that’s more pop now, which has this overarching feeling of being catchy and melodic and cheeky, but
we’re hoping you can listen to it 20 times and still be taking something new away from it on a deeper level.”
“In other words,” says Matt, “we’re hoping the album will be something you can play at a party, but that you’ll also want to play after the party
when you get home.”

Singer/Songwriter Tim Blane’s new album, “You Can’t Go Back,” was almost cancelled due to weather.

In February 2010, Tim and his band sat, shivering, in a Virginia recording studio. After two days with no electricity, heat, or running water, they
wondered aloud if they should cut their losses and make the 14-hour trip back to Boston. Producer Chris Keup entered the room, informing them
that the three feet of snow on the ground meant they weren’t going anywhere. He stated simply…
“You can’t go back.”

Unfazed, the band used their time in the dark to work on arrangements. They huddled together and shared stories and that turned into song lyrics.
And now, a year later, the album is finally ready. It seems that Mother Nature wasn’t actually against Tim releasing a new album. She was just
gonna make him work hard for it. And the title, “You Can’t Go Back” serves as a reminder that this collection of acoustic pop songs almost didn’t
see the light of day.

Hailing originally from Washington, DC, Blane cut his teeth playing classical violin and jazz piano. But after teaching himself guitar and attending
Berklee College of Music, he began the transition into modern pop songwriting. He released two full-length albums- “In the Meantime” (2005) and
“Clockwork” (2007)- exhibiting a passion for incorporating elements of jazz into a roots-rock sound.

On the one hand, Blane’s career has followed the traditional singer/songwriter path. Since 2006, he’s played clubs and colleges throughout the US,
slowly building a grass roots fan base. Along the way he has shared the stage with acts like the Goo Goo Dolls, Cake, OneRepublic, KT Tunstall,
Fabolous and Sister Hazel. He’s garnered accolades like a Boston Music Award nomination, 2 finals appearances in the Starbucks Songwriting
Competition, and 14 different Ourstage.com wins. His song “Magnetic” is currently a finalist of the 2011 International Songwriting Competition,
and CAA’s 2009 “Cassandra Report” named him (along with acts like Lady Gaga) an artist to watch.

Yet on the other hand, Tim has taken some very unusual paths. Since 2009, he has been seen in millions of homes teaching guitar and piano lessons
as the teacher in Apple’s “Garageband” program. He was also hired to write custom ringtones for Pepsi. And this past summer he made worldwide
press for performing at a Presidential wedding.

Now with the May 2011, release of “You Can’t Go Back,” Tim hopes that this album full of catchy acoustic pop tunes will appeal to his fans old
and new, as he hits the road to support it.

And he bought a set of snow tires just to be safe.

New York, NY– (April 11th, 2011) – Following the success of debut single, “Friction” in September 2010, electro-pop artist Adam Tyler continues
plans to autograph his name on the scene in permanent ink. In conjunction with Tiger Bay Records, the artist proudly announces the digital release
of his next single “I Won’t Let You Go,” one which joins a complete EP due out in July 2011. Highlighting the artist’s undeniable versatility, the
track unites his aggressive electro flair with the accessibility of an easy pop tune. Adam’s adept and electrified sensibility for melody ignites
immense prowess as is evident in his upcoming EP. His talent has warranted him several opportunities to work with other masters of their craft,
such as the notable producer DeeKay (Sugababes), choreographer Stixx (Eminem), Chris Yates (X Factor) and director Dan Shipton (Dancing On
Ice).

While a student at Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, the artist quickly found the confines of a classroom were limiting the kind of
stage he was aiming to take. Opting to take a risk, Adam took a departure from his coursework and at the age of 22, it was met with reward. The
artist was quickly recruited by the creator of Hollywood Records’ band, Youngstown, for his new act. The Missouri native jumped at the
opportunity and relocated to Los Angeles, ultimately yearning to tackle the industry on his own. Up next for the artist, Adam looks forward to
taking his work on the road, with nationwide performances including Los Angeles, New York, and abroad in London this year.

Sheri Miller's "Winning Hand"
If you like: Sheryl Crow, Fiona Apple, KT Tunstall, Sara Bareilles, Joni Mitchell, Ingrid Michaelson
Music Genres: Pop / Singer Songwriter / Alternative / Rock
Sheri Miller is a NYC-based musician who writes melodic, poetic and catchy songs on guitar and piano with "exquisite
sensitivity…talent…and originality" (MUSIC CONNECTION MAGAZINE) with her soulful, inspiring, and distinctly unique voice. Upon
releasing her critically-acclaimed debut EP, “Mantra” in 2008, which features underground hit "Right Here, Right Now", Sheri was named
one of Music Connection's "Hot 100 Unsigned Artists", and asked to join a 4-part vocal harmony group, The Delilahs, which signed with
Sony. Since leaving the band, Sheri has co-written with icon songwriters like J.D. Souther (Eagles), Shawn Mullins and Jill Sobule. Sheri’s
stunning new record, “Winning Hand”, produced by legendary Kevin Killen (U2, Peter Gabriel), features incredible musicians Will Lee
(Fab Faux, CBS Orchestra), Charley Drayton (Fiona Apple, Divinylis, Johnny Cash), and Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Suzanne Vega)
and will be released in 2011.

Once upon a time, in New York, a young musician and artist named Sheri Miller, armed with her acoustic guitar, her electric sunburst
1969 Guild guitar, her Yamaha keyboard, and a pen and paper, began to write songs. Dozens of songs. She had a great love and a
deep, soulful connection to music, as her mother was an opera singer and classical piano player, and her uncle a recording engineer.

Sheri had released her critically-acclaimed debut record in 2008, “Mantra,” which featured an underground hit, “Right Here, Right Now.”
Upon releasing “Mantra,” Sheri was named one of Music Connection’s “Hot 100 Unsigned Artists,” and asked to join a 4-part vocal
harmony group in Nashville, The Delilahs, which soon signed to Sony Music. Sheri began co-writing with icon J.D. Souther (The Eagles),
Jill Sobule, Shawn Mullins, Marcus Hummon (Dixie Chicks), Al Anderson (NRBQ) and many other incredible songwriters. But the group
fell apart, and Sheri came back to New York with new inspiration, passionately writing hundreds of pages of loose-leaf-strewn lyrics,
dozens upon dozens of songs; channeling her anguish and heartbreak from a major break-up, dealing with tumultuous family issues,
and finding new routes to make a living as a working musician. Sheri poured her struggles, inner demons and inner angels, and heart-
drenched stories into creating a new, magnificent album; an album with integrity, soul, and artistry she’d be proud of.

But who would produce this authentic artist’s songs? Sheri reached out and contacted the amazing and legendary producer Kevin Killen
(U2, Peter Gabriel). She played him a few songs from the inspired hurricane of titles she was writing, and shortly thereafter, with great
joy, Sheri and Kevin began recording the new album “Winning Hand.”

Enlisting the all-star band of incredible, legendary musicians Will Lee (Fab Faux, CBS Orchestra), Charley Drayton (Fiona Apple,
Divinylis, Johnny Cash) and Gerry Leonard (David Bowie, Suzanne Vega), the artistic, poetic, and super-catchy songs of “Winning
Hand” took shape. “Spoons,” the super-hooky, uptempo, beloved song dedicated to the art of “spooning” in bed. “Winning Hand,” the
inspiring, “go for it, risk it all” anthem, with the uplifting, positive message “Bet we lay down a winning hand.” “Satellite,” a Led Zeppelin
meets Joni Mitchell seductive love song, beckoning a lover in outer space; written in a rare, strange guitar tuning invented by Sheri.
“Everybody Feels This Way Sometimes,” a highly melodic, deeply confessional, raw song, lifting with an anthemic chorus. “Hungry For
The Truth,” a sassy, attitude-filled, poetic, rebellious declaration of owning one’s individuality.

Soon enough, the songs were recorded and “Winning Hand” was finished. Sheri had labored hard, faced struggles, but emerged proud
of this CD, and couldn’t wait for the world to hear it. She excitedly released the stunning songs of “Winning Hand” out into the world, and
watched these songbirds fly away. Higher and higher they went. Sheri smiled. She couldn’t wait to see what happens next.

SHERI'S CONFESSIONS:
Hi. Sheri here. First secret admission...I discovered the Beatles late. Well, at least a little bit later than the people who pretty much claim
they were chilling in the womb listening to the White Album on tiny Sony headphones. Jon Brion changed my life one Friday night, about
10 years ago at Club Largo in Los Angeles, when he played some wildly gorgeous, intricate, dark, songs with Elliott Smith. I was too
young and naive to even realize what I was witnessing. Fiona Apple is a true original and so self-possessed artistically. Love her.
Anyone named Elvis. Stevie Wonder's music makes me want to get up, clap my hands, and sing in a gospel choir. He is the human form
of joy. Johnny Cash is the closest thing we have to a modern-day American hero and reminds me in some ways of my cowboy
grandfather, Barney, who wears sunglasses and boleros at age 94. Lucinda Williams' songs are so amazingly simple and direct(Essence
record and "Sweet Old World") they make me want to take up a drug habit. Just kidding, mom. Bob Dylan is some sort of prophet in
black sunglasses, who makes me want to read the Bible. Etta James is my biggest singing influence, God bless her. Rodgers & Hart
(Bewitched, My Funny Valentine), Ella Fitzgerald, Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Ron Sexsmith, The Stones, Donny Hathaway, Otis
Redding, Nina Simone, Sarah Vaughn, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, Muddy Waters, Dinah Washington. I do love classical and jazz--
I've been meaning to pour a midnight glass of red Shiraz and get deeper into Miles Davis. But, of course, Charles Bukowski's poetry, so
raw and real and gross and delicate. What a beautiful monster man he was. Maya Angelou, who makes me want to crawl into golden-lit
sunflower fields at dusk to write poetry as the sun fades into stardust. "The God of Small Things" tempts me to steal every line for a
song. My tall and beautiful angels who protect me in their swirling white light. Dreaming and waking up in that groggy half-awake state,
where the air is open and you can grab the little tiny particle things, the invisible beauty of creativity, passing by. Hopefully you'll touch
inspiration. Even for just a moment.

When Cady Groves was four years old, she woke up on Christmas morning to
discover a blue drum set draped with candy canes sitting by the tree. “My step-
dad got it for me,” she says. “He was a drummer in a band and had this really
cool mullet and used to cut off all the sleeves on his shirts, which not only
started my fascination with bands, mullets, and people who don’t wear sleeves,
but he also taught me how to play. From that minute on, I wanted to be a badass
musician. I remember being five years old and asking my mom for leather pants.”

She never did get the leathers, but the love of music instilled in her from a
young age set Groves on a trajectory that has landed the 21-year-old singer
and songwriter a deal with RCA Records, which will release her major-label
debut album later this year. After moving to Los Angeles, the Oklahoma native
has been feverishly writing songs, which she has recorded over the past year
with a variety of producers, including Kristian Lundin, Busbee, Sean Douglas,
Jim Irvine and Julian Emery, and newcomers Ryan and Nolan. The album is
shaping up to be a stellar collection of irresistible pop tunes that showcase this
spirited 21-year-old’s knack for writing instantly hummable melodies and brutally
honest lyrics, as well as her appealingly idiosyncratic voice. The songs — which
largely chronicle Groves’ struggle to pick herself up and dust herself off after a
break-up with a deceitful ex — brim with her wry wit and spiky personality.

“No other girl could sing these songs, because they’re my life experiences,”
Groves says. “That’s what I wanted. The album reeks of heartache; it’s about a
girl just trying to figure out life.”

Groves grew up in a family of seven kids in Marlow, Oklahoma — a tiny town just
over seven square miles near the Southern border of the state. In addition to
giving her a drum kit, Groves’ step-dad introduced her to Styx and Lynyrd
Skynyrd, while her mom favored Phil Collins and Amy Grant. Then one day in
1995, Groves’ mom took four-year-old Cady to Wal-Mart to pick up the new
album by Alanis Morissette. “I remember she put Jagged Little Pill on in our
fifteen-passenger van and I thought, ‘Yeah, this is it.’ It felt like something I could
actually do. So I would belt out Alanis songs in the van. That was when I started
singing.”

Groves got her first CD player at seven, an event she says marked the end of
her social life. “I just sat in my room all the time because I didn’t want anyone to
hear me belting out these huge Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey songs, so I
would go in my closet and sing at the top of my lungs and try to match every
vocal run and note they were hitting. I’d put a pillow over my face if I thought I
was getting too loud.” As a teenager she worked as a waitress and delivered
pizzas (an experience she credits with overcoming shyness), graduated from
high school at 16, and entered culinary school, which is when she began dating
someone who would change the course of her life.

“My boyfriend at the time was a musician and was amazing at writing lyrics,”
Groves says. “He made me realize that I could actually do it. He also got me to
sing with him and was the first person to tell me my voice was good.” The couple
began recording songs together in their apartment, but the relationship ended
badly, and Groves kicked him out. “I said, ‘Thank you for making music a reality
and letting me see I could actually do this. I’m going to do music without you,’”
Groves recalls. “He’s still working at Starbucks six years later.”

Groves began to post songs she had written and humorous videos on her
MySpace page and spent 16 hours a day replying personally to every single
person who commented on them, earning her thousands of loyal fans who told
her how much they felt she spoke for them. “I was getting messages from people
telling me they started crying when they heard ‘Refrain,’ which was about my ex
and the first song I ever posted,” she says. “It just an F.U. song to the guy that
ruined me.” She channeled her heartbreak into two self-released EP’s: A Month
of Sundays, which came out in October 2009, followed by The Life of a Pirate in
March 2010. Soon Groves was earning comparisons to Kelly Clarkson, Miranda
Lambert, and Never Shout Never for her raw, confessional acoustic tunes. “It’s
funny because I never set out to be an acoustic artist,” Groves says. “I love
acoustic-based music, but I only did that because I couldn’t afford a full band. I’
ve always wanted to make a huge pop album.”

Now she’s getting her chance thanks to RCA Records, which Groves signed with
in May 2010. Immediately after, she set off on the Bamboozle Road Show,
touring with All Time Low, Good Charlotte, and a host of others, building a
strong fan base who engage with her via Groves’ lively Twitter feed. When
Groves played several new tunes on the road in April 2011, fans immediately
began posting videos of her performances on YouTube, pleading with her to
release new songs such as “Murder,” “Revenge,” and “So-Called Love.”

“I’ve spent 12 hours a day writing and recording for months and months, so it’s
really amazing to test the songs out in front of an audience,” Groves says of her
live show. “My message to fans is that you’re never alone. I’m here to speak for
all the kids who are stuck right now. You can hear in my songs how confused I
am sometimes, so if it takes me being completely transparent to make other
people realize that they’re not the only ones who feel alone, I’m totally down for
that.”

In 1990, Jason David began writing music with close friend Matt Gaspari. Together
with a notebook and a piano, they would collaborate until all hours of the night. Jason
would write lyrics and sing the melodies while Matt arranged the music on the piano.
One day with the help of a band director from a local college they found home to a
recording studio, which would produce four songs.

One of the four songs, called "As One" was published and distributed by an
independent record company under a Major Label. The song also appeared on
many local Bay Area radio stations. This would place Jason David among Grammy
worthy musicians in the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS)
where he became a voting member and still is to this day.

Los Angeles native Krissi Moses (now sharing compilation space at Virgin Megastores with Counting Crows, and adjusting to her sudden
local fame in the LA rock scene) wrote her first song at 16 at the encouragement of “Slappy” (bassist of Bargain Music – a band credited
with influencing the likes of LA legends Sublime and others). Saturday Night Magazine thinks “Slappy” is a pretty smart guy. The high-
circulation college party rag recently selected Krissi from a gaggle of high-power, upcoming talent (including several new RCA, Geffen
and Interscope installments) for their 5th annual Saturday Night Loud album (a series featuring many freshman acts gone global over the
years, including breakout phenomena Feist and The Submarines). Did we mention Krissi is also incredibly good-looking? Check out her
hot pics all over the web.

Originally courted by Columbia as a solo act, Krissi flouted the advice of her friends and family, electing instead to assemble a band from
scratch and work out her signature sound gigging live. It worked. Continuing to write, record, gig and explore new genres and sounds,
Krissi’s material is a fresh blend of rock, pop, reggae, punk and funk, best characterized by her compilation track, “You’re Forgettable”
(based wryly on her true-life first heartbreak – he’s kickin’ himself now).
Krissi just came off the road (her last show in Reno to a crowd of 2000 screaming psychos) and is completing her full length CD entitled

Before rocking stages nationwide and getting their music played on numerous MTV shows,
the members of Boston based band ENDWAY were nearly homeless. Band members Kevin
McHugh (Guitar, Vocals), Dennis Walsh (Bass, Vocals), Andrea Belfiore (Drums), Morgan
Dorr (Lead Vocals, Guitar) and Brian Lempert (Keys, Vocals), literally gave up everything to
pursue their love of music. As a result the guys ended up playing over 200 shows
nationwide—sharing the ENDWAY message with any and everyone that would lend an ear.

ENDWAY’s philosophy on the sacrifice was simple—they believe if you do what you love and
you'll be great at it. They did it so much that their suitcases became their closets, and the
couches and floors of fans and friends became their bedrooms. This connection to the
audience and fan base is one of the many things that separate them from your everyday
rock band.

During that journey, ENDWAY released the band’s self-titled debut album, which catapulted
them from virtually unknown to a hot commodity. As luck would have it a producer from MTV’
s The Real World happened upon the CD from one of the cast members. He liked the
ENDWAY’s sound so much so that nine of the songs off of the album were featured on five
different MTV shows including The Real World, Road Rules, and The Hills.

To keep up with the modern day trends of giving their fans continuous content and music,
the band released there next album—the appropriately titled Running Man in late 2009.

With licensing successes, several critically acclaimed performances, two critically acclaimed
albums and positive word of mouth, ENDWAY gained the attention of an up and coming
producer/label owner, Andrew Koss of Tainted Blue Studios/Productions in New York City.
Koss was so blown away with their devotion and dedication to the music that he had to be
involved! Koss in tern produced their recently released album, Colors. The album, which
features the internet hit “Running Man,” is decidedly worldlier sounding than any of
ENDWAY’s previous releases. With such a varied fan base the band succeeded in making
an album that anyone can get into no matter their background. Colors was finished in the fall
of 2010 and digitally released by Tainted Blue in the first quarter of 2011.

Despite the notoriety, ENDWAY’s backbone is still their phenomenal stage show. "We pour
our entire existence onto the stage, and want everyone to leave knowing exactly who we are
and what we're all about," says lead guitarist Kevin McHugh. No longer playing on street
corners for a few fans ENDWAY has rocked performances from historic Fenway Park and
The House of Blues to SXSW and dozens of college campuses in between. ENDWAY has
shared the stage with national acts including All Time Low, Brand New, State Radio, Boys
Like Girls, Hoobastank, Dashboard Confessional, New Found Glory, Damone, and Lost
Prophets Their ability to kick-start a music hall is now legendary. While touring in Costa Rica
in January 2008, the guys also worked hands on with the Roberta Felix Foundation, a
charity that benefits underprivileged children with special needs. “Above the money, the
memories and the fun the most basic thing we get out of touring is going out on stage and
pouring out all of our energy to the fans and them respecting that,” says lead vocalist
Morgan Dorr.

TINA is a singer, songwriter, guitarist, tabla player, writer, dancer, and actor that has been
touring worldwide since the age of five. Recently featured on Style Network’s hit show
“Jerseylicious”, she is about to make her mainstream breakthrough with her new single “So
Good” featuring Fat Joe. The video for “So Good” received 30,000 views in it’s first week,
which is extremely rare for an Indie Artist. “So Good” is an instantaneous, catchy pop hit that
is guaranteed to make listeners feel “So Good”!

TINA - Born in Mumbai, raised in New Jersey - music has always been an integral part of pop
sensation TINA’s life. Singing and performing since 5 years old, she had an early start with a
very musical family who toured as a professional group on weekends.

While her family may have been a traveling, touring act to a degree, the importance of
academics and family values was instilled by her parents. School was always an integral part
of TINA’s youth – yet after graduation, the young scholar set aside an honors biology
degree and being accepted into an accelerated medical program to follow her passion for
music.

Since then, the rising star has been on a musical journey experimenting in a few different
genres – complete with having worked with everyone from Ringo to Fat Joe. No stranger to
the spotlight, TINA has been on camera for everything from musical touring to media
interviews, to acting in dramatic soap operas to Indian comedies to VJ-ing a show for three
years that was broadcasted in 150 million households around the world. TINA is currently
very excited about her rebranding with a sexy new image and hot edgy urban pop sound.

Like many breaking artists who are likened to their successors, TINA often gets compared to
Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, as well as mega talents Prince and Shakira
because of her multi talent ability to sing, dance and play multiple instruments. She plays
several instruments with guitar and tabla (an Indian drum) being her main focus.

TINA has surrounded herself with an impeccable team of supertalents, both on the creative
and business end. For her single, “So Good”, superstar Fat Joe is a featured guest. The
song itself is a timpani driven high energy pop track with an infectious synth driven chorus,
seductive both literally and figuratively, with Fat Joe chiming in to add his praise for TINA’s
playfulness. The track is the masterpiece of the stellar musical pair of Charlie Hype and Jim
Beanz of Timbaland Productions (Katy Perry, Jamie Foxx, Justin Timberlake). Written by Jim
Beanz, the innovative “So Good” track was produced by Charlie Hype, which proves to be a
perfect match for the sensual, exotic beauty. This collaboration of talent finesses the art of
musical seduction.

Acclaimed director Paul “Coy” Allen (Faith Evans, Katy Perry, Drake) lends his expert vision
to “So Good.” Shooting for two overnight sessions (since both the bank robbery and
nightclub scenes had to be done at night) the rapport could not have been better and the
result is a stunning visual piece of eye candy. The striking appeal of the video attracted
popular Style Network reality show Jerseylicious to participate and include the making of the
"So Good" video in to one of their upcoming episodes.

The singer is shunning the old school ideology of shopping the album around, to instead
release it through her own production team – Sunset Entertainment Group. With the industry
changing so much, an artist has the resources to do so much more independently than in
the past. Of her do it yourself movement, TINA says “I’m not trying to make an anti-record
label statement with this album, but with this unstoppable team on my side this is an
opportunity to actively make things happen, instead of the waiting game of them happening
to you!”

What if you ran across Joni Mitchell in 1967 or Roberta Flack in '72. How about Sheryl
Crow in '91 or Alanis in '94 or Norah Jones or Alicia Keys before they'd been discovered,
would you stop and listen?

Legendary producer David Z (Prince, Jody Watley, Fine Young Cannibals, Angilque Kidjo,
etc.) did. When he heard Ally Way he was so impressed he immediately came on-board to
produce Ally's first release.

Meet Ally Way and this is her year. Smart songs, incredible talent, and a unique musical
vision. More than just the latest trend, her songs share the same timeless quality of the
great female artists of the rock era.

Look into the eyes of youthful songstress Ally Way, and an ancient serenity gazes back.
Asked where she was born, she sweetly says, "I'm originally from heaven," and you
believe her. Throw in the angelic voice and an original writing talent, and Ally Way adds
up to a remarkable young woman, an enthralling performer whose warm soul comes
through in every note.

Born in Washington, DC to a gospel-singer mother and an instrumentalist father, Ally grew
up surrounded by music and spirituality. She started singing at an early age, combining
the family tradition with inspirations from Joni Mitchell to John Mayer, Bonnie Raitt, and
even Nirvana. At age 14 she was blessed to learn guitar from the late DC icon and Blue
Note artist Noble Jolley. Later, she studied opera and theatre, skills that help make every
Ally Way performance an event.

Ally's muse has taken her many places. She taught yoga in Central America, sang with
great Costa Rican musicians, and then rolled into San Francisco like a velvet fog. Arriving
with no job and no place of her own, she brought only her talent, her extensive songbook,
and her endless optimism. In no time, Ally was cutting tracks with local groups, showcasing
in Los Angeles, and making a name with her unique blend of soul, folk, and personal
vision.

A strict vegetarian and a student of world spirituality, Ally seeks to communicate with more
than words, healing with her voice. Back in the Washington area to be with family, she is
putting the finishing touches on her first album. She appears frequently on local stages,
sharing her sweetness, warmth, and moving stories with happy fans and new listeners
alike.

KAILE GOH
Kaile Goh gives pop an edge. On her forthcoming LAVA/ Universal Republic Records debut, the 15-year-old songstress infuses
attitude into each and every tune she writes and sings.

Born in Singapore, Kaile spent her first five years there before moving to Los Angeles. In L.A., she began modeling for Ford
Modeling as a kid becoming a go-to face for Disney, Target, Kodak, Mattel, Sony, and others due to her innate, natural beauty
and inimitable presence. With the money she made from modeling, she bought a Gibson Hummingbird guitar, which she still
constructs all of her songs on.

The songs started pouring out of her at ten-years-old though. Kaile could barely fret the Hummingbird, but her mom would take
her to local open mic nights where she would perform originals to stunned audiences of regulars. "Singing is something I never got
bored of," declares Kaile. "It's what I was meant to do."

In 2010, she landed a meeting with LAVA president Jason Flom. After playing three songs acoustically for Jason at The Beverly
Hills Hotel, he signed her on the spot. Before she knew it, she was in New Jersey with producer David Bendeth [Paramore,
Breaking Benjamin] recording her first album. Drawing from influences as diverse as classic rock—The Rolling Stones and The
Beatles—and Taking Back Sunday, she and Bendeth crafted a fresh and fiery sound. About working with Bendeth, she elaborates,
"I wouldn't have thought about things David suggested. It was incredible to watch him work. He preserved what I was doing but
helped me reach the next level."
Giana Nguyen
Genre: Pop, Pop Rock, Adult Contemporary, SingerSongwriter
Comparison: Jewel, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Calliat, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow
With a genuine sense of excitement and gratitude imbued into every note of her work, Orange County,
CA-based singer/songwriter Giana Nguyen really means it when she thanks you for listening. Much like
fellow songstresses Sara Bareilles and Sarah McLachan, Nguyen's piano-based pop/acoustic rock
sound finds its gravity in inescapable melodies that communicate her story through authentic, personal
lyrics.

Thank you for listening. That is what you need to know about Giana Nguyen. The odds are good that
she will literally thank you for listening if given the chance, but more importantly, this sense of gratitude
and genuine excitement to be making music is imbued throughout her work. Much akin to fellow
singer/songwriters like Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, and Sarah McLachlan, Giana’s piano-based
pop/acoustic rock sound is the way she’s chosen to let you know who she is, where she’s been, and
what she’s learned.

Though she studied and taught classical piano and sang in choirs while growing up in Orange County,
CA, the golden state was not the beginning of her journey. Giana was born in Saigon, during the post-
Vietnam War era. During the first 5 years of her life, Giana’s parents did their best to shelter her from
the harsh realities of a nation marked by fear and fighting. But eventually, she fled with her father in a
massive wave of Vietnamese citizens who decided to create a better life beyond their homeland. Being a
child refugee in Southern California is a whole different kind of fight, and the challenges that Giana
overcame from that point on made her strong in character and spirit yet generous of heart.

How she came to be established in her true passion of a career of making music, however, was a
different path than expected. She had a very brief flirtation with the spark of songwriting within her at
age 14, when she wrote her first 2 songs. Just as quickly as the spark ignited, though, it was made to
wait. “I guess you could say I started with Plan B for familial and personal obligations, and chose a more
practical career path in the health care industry, before circling back to Plan A, which was music.” After
earning her B.S. degree in HealthCare Administration and working a good handful of years in a field far
removed from the musical passion inside her, she decided to return to “Plan A” and began
apprehending her dreams as a songwriter/performer and music business entrepreneur.

Her debut EP, For Now, is a major milestone in Giana’s career. Featuring 6 original songs that epitomize
the best of singer/songwriter acoustic pop and showcase her clear, evocative voice, For Now beautifully
and immediately pulls her fans right up close to the heart of a woman. “I’m a sucker for romance, so it’s
no surprise that most of my songs are about falling in love, being in love, and falling out of love.” Her
songwriting and vocal performances, both perfectly-pitched for today’s Top 40 market, communicate
perspective and wisdom while sonically tipping the hat to her musical paragon Sara Bareilles. “Yep, I
admit it,” she shares with a laugh. “I’m sort of a crazy Sara fan.”

Giana is more than just a sucker for love, though. Embodying a balance of passion and practicality, she
is a savvy woman who is poised to blend her creative talents with her business skills to push her forward
in this profession. In addition to her music work, she is also committed to volunteerism and charity work,
particularly with CHOC Children’s, a pediatric hospital in Orange County, CA. “I want to continually grow
as an artist and as a person, and not just because I’m only 5’2”,” Giana proclaims with a wink and a
smile. Short on height, perhaps, but certainly not on vision and commitment to her art. “I feel like I’m
having a second coming of age, with renewed spirit and excitement for what lies ahead. It’s like waking
from a dream and finally giving myself a chance to live it out.”

One often finds their destiny on the path they take to avoid it, and it’s been a long and unique journey
for Giana Nguyen as she found her way to the life and career she has now. A war. A boat. A new life in a
new land. A Plan B and a Plan A and a second start for a first passion. More than most musicians, she
knows the precious value of what she has because, for so long, she had something else. In life, she has
experienced obstacles that most never will, but hers is not a story of pity or sappy sentiment. It is one of
strength, and self-possession, and gratitude. “For the longest time, I didn’t dare to embrace my artistry.
But ultimately, the truth came out and the songs in me wanted to be heard. Thank you for listening.”

Comparison: Sarah
McLachlan, Tori

"I really like this... Hearing (Jennings), I want to go out and hear more... That did it for me "
Rick Shoemaker, former President Warner Bros. Music

The old adage “big things come in small packages” has perhaps never been more fitting for an artist
than in the case of Jennings, the one-name moniker of New York based siren Mary Jennings.

Standing just a shade over five feet tall, Jennings delivers a robust and heartfelt sound that is anything
but small-scale. Her music reflects an enormous strength and drive that is uniquely hers, combining a
deep range of rock and pop influences with an unabashed sense of vintage style that few, if any, could
ever pull off. “I believe that the difference between an artist and the average person is a fearless and
relentless willingness to expose their quarks, oddities, secrets, and passions for all of the world to see
and hear.” says Mary.

Mary’s surge in musical expression started after the sudden death of her mother in 2001. “This tragedy
rocked me to the core, but there is so much beauty in what it allowed me to do,” she says. “All of my
emotions came pouring out in the form of melody.” At the time, her father, a former musician himself,
gave her the option to go through therapy or record an album. He knew both would be equally helpful to
her, but by recording her music, she would be able to have something to hold on to and share with
others for a lifetime.

It was on that first album that Jennings’ established her creative foundation, crafting music that bonds
her to the listener in a genuinely honest and relatable way. That openness, and the raw emotion that
she has shared on subsequent records, has attracted praise from fans and press alike. "Jennings'
music is sweet, lush, powerful, full of great hooks, intelligent and meaningful to boot! I love it!" said
Heather Miller-Rodriguez of 100.1FM KRUU. Platinum award winning producer John Rowe agrees,
calling Jennings’ music “creative and original... A breath of fresh air!"

Recent years have seen Mary’s musical aspirations starting to take shape. She has worked with
Billboard-charting songwriters, toured with national acts and has had a number of her songs placed on
popular television shows. While the professional growth and the accolades that have accompanied it are
nice, it is still the simple act of connecting with a live audience that she values the most. “Live
performances give me such a rush. It is one of the best parts about being a musician. To me, it was what
really brings the music to life. To know that you only have a few moments to capture and audience and
keep them engaged long enough to fall in love with you and your music is a difficult task, but one that I
wouldn't trade for any other profession.”

Now, that growth continues with the release of Jennings’ latest album, Collapse Collide. It’s a project that
reflects an artist, and a woman, who has confidently found her voice over the course of a long, and at
times, heart-breaking journey and the beginning of what many have already predicted: a bright and
promising future for a truly one-of-a-kind talent.

EllenOnceAgain
Genre: Indie-Pop, SingerSongwriter, Folk, Pop, Soul
Comparison: Corrine Bailey Rae, Adele, Fiest, Beatles, Stevie Wonder
Ellen Once Again is a singer/songwriter and musician from Texas. Her blend of soul, folk and pop vocals blend effortlessly to make a
sound that is vintage without sounding dated.

Known for her soulful heartfelt singing, positive lyrics, beautiful personality and infectious smile Ellen is inspired by Ingrid Michaelson,
Lauryn Hill, Sara Bareilles, Adele, Corinne Bailey Rae & Stevie Wonder but maintains her own "quirky" musical identity.

Though she has been a musician since the age of 12—playing in church and the occasional gigs—Ellen has finally decided to pursue a
career in music. “It describes who I am,” she says describing the meaning behind her stage name. “I feel like I’ve been doing other stuff
but I’ve always come back to music because this is really what I want to do.” True to her word, Ellen spends the majority of her time
writing, recording and teaching music to children.

Currently in the process of recording her as yet untitled debut EP, Ellen has received critical acclaim for the few songs she has leaked
online. The fun but socially aware “Plastic Land” (Save Me) and “Spreading the Love”—the latter of which she will be shooting a video
for—are just two examples of what Ellen has in store.

Ironically, Ellen’s fan base has grown exponentially thanks to tech bloggers. Her husband, full time supporter and part time producer
Andre, introduced Ellen to the iPad in an attempt to convince her that his gadget addiction was actually useful. Over the Christmas break
the couple used a few iPad apps (Pianist Pro, Nano Studio and Bebot) and an iPhone 4 to shoot and edit her first video. The experiment
quickly went viral, garnering over 20,000 views on YouTube. The video featuring Ellen singing covers of “Hey Soul Sister” / “New Soul”
was picked up by a number of blogs and lauded as an innovative use of the technology.

Ellen plans on continuing to embrace her newfound blog fame by making more videos. However, traditional music is still her first love.
Armed with songwriting ability, a serious passion for music and a dream, Ellen Once Again is a name fans will soon be repeating again
and again.

jJolley is a talented surf survivor. Not the California, Beach Boys kind of surf but the gritty Motor City Rock & Roll kind of surf... the Bob

Through his stamina and dedication, Jay has kept his balance and caught some great waves. He's established himself as an exciting
singer performing at the front of such notable bands as 2XL, Flash, Notorious Johnny’s and The Heat. He has performed and/or recorded
with many top talents, including Johnny "Bee" Badanjek and Anita Cochran. He has kicked out solid rock & roll as a keyboardist with Mitch
Ryder, Mark Farner and Dick Wagner. And, with numerous bands, he has opened for such headliners as Black Crowes, Eddie Money,
Rhythm Corps, Sass Jordan and UFO. Through singles, EPs and albums, Jay's voice has become a familiar pleasure to radio listeners
throughout the Midwest. A few years ago, he was tapped by the Detroit Red Wings to perform their game song, Get Up, which is played
every time the Red Wings take to the ice for a home game.

Music and love and loyalty are central to the DNA of Jay's family tree: Mom sang, her voice compared by many to the late Judy Garland.
Grandma was a concert pianist. Dad was an organist as a boy while growing up in England. Mom and dad owned a record store for years
in Metro Detroit.

Jay's career was diverted by the calling to take care of his mother when she was diagnosed with brain cancer and subsequently by the
deterioration of his dad's health, rest their souls. Doing the right thing is what Jay is all about. This is why, with the help of his friends and
fans he is focusing his efforts on getting into your ears and eyes and touching your heart and soul. "Take care of others and they take

During most of 2010 jJolley has been writing, recording and preparing for the big waves of a national career. With a new management
team, a new deal with indie label Double-J Music and a library of new tunes, jJolley's surf is definitely up!

Van Müller
Music Genres:
Rock, Indie,
Singer
Songwriter
Comparison:
Sheryl Crow,
The Rolling
Stones , Fiona
Apple, Grace
Potter
All Van Muller ever wanted was the music.

As a young girl growing up in the countryside of Brazil, Van Muller became enthralled with the music her
three aunts introduced her to: Rock N Roll. Muller had the posters on her wall of rock icons and endured
long bus trips to catch her heroes live, always dreaming that one day it would be her up on the stage.
Inspired early on by the showmanship of acts such as Queen, David Bowie and Madonna, Muller quickly
fell in love with the singer/songwriter aesthetic espoused by James Taylor, Neil Young, Bob Dylan and
even the Beatles. Muller developed a hunger for American culture that was insatiable, be it for movies,
television or the latest hot rock/pop act on the scene.

At the age of sixteen, Van Muller gave up her comfortable country life and moved to Sao Paulo, Brazil to
try her hand at modeling and start a band. Her first stage experience as a vocalist was performing cover
versions of 1980’s rock hits. Muller took the process seriously, engaging a professional voice teacher
and traveling to New York City every chance she got. Eventually Muller made the leap of faith and
moved herself to New York, hoping the bright lights of The Big Apple would light the way to her dreams.

Muller’s songwriting style is a mish-mash of sounds, blending the raw rock aesthetic of the Rolling
Stones with the sensual oomph of Chrissie Hynde and the casual grace of Sheryl Crow. As a vocalist,
Muller commands the mic with the succulent alto of Hynde or Stevie Nicks and the edgy flair of Meredith
Brooks. One thing is abundantly clear from the outset, Van Muller is never happier than when she is on
stage. Music isn’t just a career for Muller; it’s a way of life. It couldn’t be any other way for a girl who
started singing in bars at the tender age of seven. Muller takes her music seriously but is the furthest
thing from a diva you could find. While the business of making music is a serious one for Muller, it’s also
serious fun.

Van Muller is currently having a blast developing her debut album, Find Yourself Here under the guiding
hand of producer/bassist Ken Rich (Joseph Arthur, Ani DiFranco, David Byrne, Shabba Ranks). Muller
credits Rich with helping her become more focused as a songwriter. There’s a freshness to the album,
as Muller tells stories from her own life, crafting a blend of musical styles ranging from 1960’s to 1990’s
rock and pop. It’s as if Muller took all the influences of her childhood heroes, internalized them and has
created something new yet with distinctive ties to the past. You’ll be hooked from the opening notes with
Muller’s confessorial style, pop sensibility and her amazing voice.

Songwriting hasn’t been Ken Rich’s only influence, however. Rich brought in up-and-coming engineer
Tomek Miernowski (The Spring Standards, The Pierces, The Madison Square Gardeners), and helped
Muller put together an all-star band. Artists featured on Van Muller’s upcoming album include Ben Butler
(Jonatha Brooke, Dar Williams, Mariah Carey, Suzanne Vega) on guitar, Ethan Eubanks (Joseph Arthur,
Crash Test Dummies) on drums, Whynot Jansveld (The Weepies, Gavin DeGraw) on bass, Rich Hinman
(Roseanne Cash) on pedal steel, Andrew Sherman (Mariah Carey, Brian McKnight) on keys and Time
Ries (Rolling Stones) on saxophone. It comes as no surprise, then, that the music behind Muller sounds
like it might be played by the house band in Paradise.

In spite all of the allusions to heroes and rock stars, Van Muller is just a girl who fell so deeply in love
with music that she gave up her life and changed hemispheres just to make her dreams come true. Even
a few minutes of conversation with Muller will convince you that she’s not destined to be a cardboard
cutout pop/rock personality. Muller displays the personal grace and pure love of what she does that are
marks of the musical elite. Muller has the raw talent to make her dreams come true, and in Ken Rich she

Jennifer Richman
Music Genres:
Singer Songwriter,
Folk, Adult
Contemporary, Pop

Comparison: Jewel,
Joni Mitchell, Sarah
McLachlan, Shania
Twain, Mindy Smith
Sometimes we survive through our art, and sometimes we save others. Jennifer Richman has done both.
The Brooklyn born and bred singer/songwriter has a penchant for uplifting lyrics and songs of hope and
inspiration. Her song “Beautiful Girl” spent over 30 weeks on Top 40 and Adult Contemporary Charts in
2010, and Jennifer was nominated as Best Female Artist and Best New Artist of 2010 by New Music
Weekly Magazine.

Jennifer Richman grew up in a middle class family, and was encouraged early on in her artistic pursuits
as a ballet dancer. Jennifer caught the singing bug from her twin sister, and her grandmother fed the fire
by teaching her piano. Still, Jennifer was shy about performing. A solo in junior high broke the dam,
however, and the reticent performer became the girl who wouldn’t stop singing practically overnight.
Jennifer suddenly took great joy in singing for others, but music was much more than just performance.
Music became an emotional life raft for Jennifer; a stabilizing force that grounded and inspired her.
These days Jennifer performs with the hope of inspiring others.

Jennifer, an Occupational Therapist by day, began taking a guitar with her on internships while in
college, staying after her shift was over and playing music for her patients. It was here that Jennifer
became convinced of the healing magic of music. These days Jennifer works primarily with autistic
children, and has seen non-verbal kids begin to speak through the power of music. Its experiences like
these that drive Jennifer to create; to write songs that inspire and engage her listeners.

Jennifer is also an avid student and practitioner of Yoga, and met her Guru, Swami Yogiraj Nanak
Chand during one of his trips to New York City. Yoga has helped Jennifer connect with her true self.
Because of this internal connection, Jennifer has become adept at connecting with fans, whether
through recorded media or in her live shows. Jennifer touches hearts the way most people shake hands,
casually and without pretense. Fans from all over the world have been moved by Jennifer’s songs, and
reach out to tell her so.

Jennifer Richman’s songwriting has won her comparisons to Jewel and Joni Mitchell, while her voice
recalls Shania Twain and Mindy Smith. All of these are fair assessments, but fail to capture the essence
of Jennifer Richman. Jennifer carries with her a quiet intensity blended with a sense of wonder at the
world around her. She’s a survivor who’s found a way to thrive, and believes that everyone deserves the
same opportunity. This energy and commitment to others shines through in her music, in her life as a
therapist, and in her role as a lecturer at Columbia University, where she espouses the healing power of
music in the world of autism. It is a mark of Jennifer’s character that every professional aspect she’s
taken on seeks to make the lives of others better.

Jennifer Richman’s debut album, Flowers Of Gold, finds Jennifer weaving her personal experiences into
song like a master songwriter. The beatific sound of her voice puts listeners immediately at ease, and
Jennifer fills her songs with messages of hope, comfort and survival.

Jennifer is currently working on her sophomore effort, due in 2011; a more mature musical affair
informed by years of honing her songwriting and vocal craft. With inspiration gained from the passing of
friends and new perspectives on concepts such as thankfulness and forgiveness, Jennifer’s trademark
mix of sweet melodies and insightful lyrics evoke hope for a new tomorrow.

Jennifer Richman brings you into her stories like an old friend. It is this quality, more than any other that
distinguishes Jennifer as an artist. Her songs touch chords in her listeners because they are honest
stories told from the well of memory and the depths of emotion. Her drive to heal and inspire has
informed everything that Jennifer has ever done, and she brings that drive to the world in song. Jennifer
Richman is the change she wishes to see in the world.

Rachel Brown
Music Genres: Singer Songwriter, Pop, Folk, World
Comparison: Jack Johnson, Colbie Caillat, Norah Jones, Paul Simon
23-year-old Rachel Brown is a singer, songwriter and musician born and raised in New York City. Brown’s music fuses pop, Caribbean,
Hawaiian, country and world sounds into a captivating groove."

In solo recordings, with her guitar or ukulele, Rachel’s unique voice combines sweetness, sultriness and vulnerability, enchanting the
listener. When coupled with her band of talented African musicians, Brown’s Bermudian and Ethiopian heritage shines.

As a fairly new artist with no formal musical training, Brown found her voice the old fashioned way. “My songwriting process—which started
about five years ago— consisted of grabbing my guitar and learning to play it while I wrote these songs,” says Brown. “I just kind of play
things until they sound right.”

Brown’s natural talent was quickly recognized by her peers and established veterans alike. She was the 2010 recipient of the prestigious
ASCAP Foundation Robert Allen Award for songwriting. She also awarded a very coveted audition slot at the National Association for
Campus Activities national convention.

Having only been performing publicly since her junior year in college, the Harvard graduate’s (she was selected as one of Harvard’s “15
Most Interesting Seniors” in 2010) honest lyrics and melodic sound has secured exposure not often seen by a new artist. Brown opened
for the likes of Mary J. Blige and Robin Thicke at Bermuda’s National Stadium and John Legend and Quincy Jones at the Bermuda Music
Festival.

Brown’s music also caught the ear of one of her favorite musical influences, Wyclef Jean. Last summer the singer received a surprise
when Jean brought her up on stage to perform an impromptu duet of Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” at an iMentor fundraiser.

With so much happening so fast, Brown is appreciating every step. “It’s been a pleasant surprise time and time again when someone tells
me they enjoy the music or they can relate to it because I’m just writing about my life and making music that I enjoy.”

Brown recently released an extended single featuring her award winning single “Bumblebee” as well as two other critically acclaimed
songs—“Diamond in the Rough” and a live performance of “Lullaby.” The single is available at Brown’s shows and through various digital
distributors. The multi-talented vocalist is also currently working on her as-yet-untitled debut CD, which is expected to be released in late
summer 2011.

Charlotte Sabina
Music Genres:
Pop, Rock, Singer
Songwriter

Swift, Joan Jett,

Carnes
By almost any measure, Charlotte Sabina is a typical ten year-old girl. She lives in Manhattan with her
parents and younger brother and has attended the same school since kindergarten. She plays tennis,
lacrosse and flag football and she surfs competitively; she spends her free time playing in her tree
house with her friends and her brother and she likes to dig her toes into the sand at the beach during
the summer when she’s not training as a junior lifeguard. Most of all, Sabina has the joyous, short-
attention span of a ten-year old. That is, unless she’s making music. When Charlotte Sabina sits down
at the piano, a transformation comes over her. She suddenly displays an intensity and competence that
artists twice her age struggle to find, working at her creations with a dogged determination that inspires
awe in her teachers and her artistic collaborators.

Charlotte Sabina began to learn piano at seven years old and guitar when she was eight, and started
composing music almost immediately. These early works were of a classical persuasion, influenced by
her piano teacher and by trips to the New York Philharmonic. Charlotte wrote a piece for her father
entitled “Father’s Day,” and played it for her music class at school. The piece itself and Charlotte’s
emotional performance reinforced what her music teacher had already suspected, and prompted a letter
home: Charlotte had something very special that must be nurtured.

Together teachers, family and friends encouraged Charlotte, but it was the music itself that drove her.
She would play the piano in the middle of the night, to the chagrin of neighbors in her apartment
building, and sneak away during recess to play in the school music room. Charlotte wrote a special
piece for an all-school event for Grandparents’ Day, which would be Charlotte’s first formal performance.
She dedicated the piece to her brother and left the audience breathless.

In the winter of 2010 Charlotte was selected to appear at the Guggenheim museum in New York in an
interactive piece by Tino Sehgal. While not a musical exhibit, it was the first time Charlotte was exposed
to how large audiences of strangers responded to art, and to the spoken word. At the same time Sabina’
s friends, who were also intrigued by her burgeoning talent, encouraged her to begin writing pop songs
and lyrics. Little did they know what they were setting in motion.

Sabina writes the sort of pop music that makes you happy; that makes you want to sing in the shower. In
spite of her tender age, Sabina writes articulate songs full of brilliant hooks and emotion. If you were to
hear a Charlotte Sabina song on the radio you’d assume it was written by an established 20-something
artist. When you see the reality, you’ll be amazed. Unusual beauty and poise aside, Charlotte Sabina is
an all-American ten year old girl.

After seeing Sabina progress so far over her first two years as a musician, her parents surprised her for
her tenth birthday with time in a professional recording studio. Working with producer/guitarist Jeffrey
Lee Campbell (Jon Bon Jovi, Sting, Aretha Franklin, Michael Bublé), Sabina has begun to make good on
the world of potential inside of her. With four pop songs under her belt to date (“Green,” “Moonlight,” the
girl-rock anthem “Not the Girl,” and her second, tear-jerking dedication to her brother, “Partner in Crime”
) Sabina is deserving of the sort of buzz that launched artists such as Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and
Miranda Lambert. Some may think that a ten year old writing and performing is quaint, but those who
listen will be humming and singing along with the pop incandescence of this young musician. You’ll
cheer for the unconscious joy and innocent grace of . Charlotte Sabina. You can’t help but be moved.

With comparisons to artists such as Taylor Swift, Joan Jett and Fiona Apple, it seems like the world
stands at the ready for Charlotte Sabina to take the stage. For the time being, however, music is her
passion; not a business. Sabina acknowledges that she’d someday like to make music and perform as a
career, but for now music is all about having fun; mastering the rules and then breaking them; creation.

Whether you come for the joy of youth, the magic of promise or the pure pop confections, a little time
spent with Charlotte Sabina will make you feel like a kid again. Sabina is a reminder of all that’s good
and pure in pop music, hearkening back to a time when songs on the radio were fun, rather than
expositions of angst and sorrow. You can learn more about Charlotte Sabina on her website, www.
charlottesabina.com, watch her videos on YouTube and download her songs on iTunes or Amazon (for
now Charlotte is giving any money she makes to Doctors Without Borders). And the time will come when
you’ll be able to find her in any major music store and see her on tour. Perhaps one day she’ll even
realize her dream of appearing on Saturday night live. Not even the stars themselves seem out of reach
for Charlotte Sabina.

Summerfield
Music Genres: Country, Pop, Alternative, Folk
Comparison: Taylor Swift, Alanis Morissette, Colbie Caillat, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum
Family acts are one of the deepest traditions of music from the American South. From the earliest days of the settlers, music has always
been an important Southern family and social activity. Strong and unshakeable, it’s just something that’s in the blood—and in the air—
when Southern folks get together to play. Think of the Carter Family, the Everly and Allman brothers, the Judds. And now prepare to add
another name to that list: Summerfield.

Comprised of cousins Summer Collins (15, vocals and guitar) and Isaac Ball (20, violin), Summerfield is an astonishing modern country-
pop duo that, in barely a year, has won legions of fervent fans stretching from the pair’s Fayetteville, North Carolina, home to as far away
as Russia and Europe. But, being close relatives, Summerfield’s roots naturally go back farther than the act’s official beginnings.

“Our families get together every year for the holidays and have a little private Christmas concert,” says Isaac, whose interest in the violin
started when he was six. “When Summer and I first played with some other family members at one of those gatherings, we never thought
that in just a few years we’d be working together—and having so much fun writing songs.”

Fifteen of those songs make up Sunlit Destination, Summerfield’s debut on the group’s own Rock the Boat Records label (the duo also
runs its own publishing wing). “Everything,” the album’s uplifting first single, was composed by Isaac as a tribute to his hard-working
father, a loving sentiment that Summer, a self-described “Army brat,” strongly shares. “Like Isaac, I’m very thankful to my dad for all he
does,” says the singer, who has been performing since age 10. “‘Everything’ has a message people everywhere can relate to, I think.”
Among the record’s other melodic, radio-ready cuts with equally far-reaching resonance are “Hurricane,” a poignant meditation on the
confusion of first love, laced with Summer’s soaring voice; and the title track, a carefree ode to breaking free from the workaday world that
pairs Isaac’s lilting strings with rock-tinged guitars.

As a live act, Summerfield had a true baptism of fire—playing to over 15,000 people at Fayetteville’s annual Dogwood Festival in April
2010. “We were pretty nervous at first,” recalls Isaac. “But it felt great and right away we knew we had something really special.” Still
floating on air from their debut, the duo spent the following summer rehearsing, performing, and writing songs—and then it was off to
Nashville to record Sunlit Destination.

Advance reviews of Sunlit Destination have seen Summerfield compared to hitmakers Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum, and Vanessa
Carlton. “We admire those artists because, like them, we try to write songs that are fun but have a meaningful story,” explains Summer, an
honor student who brought her homework to the studio. Each single off the album is being accompanied by a specially produced video.

“What strikes me most about Summer and Isaac’s music is the substance it has,” says producer Ben Rice (Goesl’s Parade, Pilotdrift), who
oversaw the sessions at NashVin Studio. “Even though they’re both still really young, their songs have real depth and longevity. Working
with Summerfield feels like being on the cusp of something big.” And, judging by the music and the reaction of those who hear and see
Summerfield perform it, that something will only get bigger over time.

Jenn Bostic
Music Genres: Pop, Soul, Folk, Blues
Comparison: Sara Bareilles, Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Missy Higgins
“Love me, hate me/Leave or take me/Just don’t make me change” “Change”

Jenn Bostic’s career as a singer and songwriter began when she was 10 years old, in the back seat of her father’s car with her older
brother on the way to school. A horrific crash that killed her dad, a hobby musician who taught her folk songs like “Sunny Side of the
Street,” and turned her on to Emmylou Harris and Bonnie Raitt, changed the 25-year-old’s life forever.

“God must need another angel/Around the throne tonight,” she sings on “Jealous of the Angels,” a song on her second album, the follow-
up to her promising debut, Keep Lookin for Love. “Your love lives on inside of me/And I will hold on tight.”

Born in Philadelphia, but raised in Waconia, Minnesota, a small town 30 miles west of Minneapolis, Jenn grew up singing with her family
around the piano. Her father, a CEO of NordicTrack, played a variety of instruments, including accordion, while his daughter picked up a
love of folk, blues, R&B, soul, show tunes and, eventually, country. Seeing her father die in front of her made her angry with God at first,
but she later found an outlet for her sorrow in music and writing songs.

“The first time I was able to sit down at the piano and play, I shut my eyes and honestly felt a presence next to me,” she explains. “I
poured my heart into those first few songs. The only way I could connect and be with my dad was when I played music. And I still
feel that way.”

Jenn went on to perform wherever she could, taking voice, piano and acting lessons, singing in choirs and school musicals. She would sit
in with a local roots band, Traveled Ground, that consisted of teachers from her middle and high school, and once included her father on
accordion.

She went east to attend the famed Berklee School of Music, where she honed her performance skills while studying music education, a
field still vitally important to her.

“One day, I’d love to open up a ‘School of Rock’ type institution,” she says. “Just really give back by working with people who are as
passionate as I am about music.” She also discovered country music, singing for a cover band called DiggerDawg, which opened
for a variety of performers, including Alan Jackson, Josh Turner, Brad Paisley, Reba McEntire and Gretchen Wilson, as well as traveling
to Iraq and Kuwait on an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour to entertain the U.S. troops.

On graduation, she relocated to Nashville, where she fell in with the local community, taking part in writers’ rounds and performing on a
regular basis. “Change,” another song on the new album, expresses her frustration at being told she was “too pop for country and too
country for pop.” “Everybody’s so quick with advice/About who I’m supposed to be,” she sings, stating defiantly, while quoting Judy
Garland, “Never be a second-rate version of somebody else.”

“It’s a challenge,” she says. “The biggest thing I’ve learned as an artist is to stop worrying about what I think everybody else wants and to
write music that I love. When I stopped worrying about impressing people and started to focus on touching lives, that’s when things started
happening, and that’s what makes me happy.”

Take Sheryl Crow’s bluesy approach, Sarah McLachlan’s purity of voice and Sara Bareilles’ funkiness and you get an idea of Jenn Bostic.

Working with producer Barrett Yeretsian (“Jar of Hearts”) in Los Angeles and fellow Berklee grad Charlie Hutto at Nashville’s legendary
Starstruck Studios, Bostic’s sophomore album is a superb showcase for her talents as both a singer and writer.

The album’s centerpiece, “Jealous of the Angels,” came out of a songwriting session. “It started with the phrase, ‘around the throne
tonight,’” she explains. “I just began writing down pages of my feelings about my dad, read them to the others and they started picking
out pieces. We just mapped out all these emotions and placed them in the song.”

The jaunty “Let’s Get Ahead of Ourselves” came from her “trying to make the best of everything… It’s about the fact life can be short, so
why not grab every moment.”

“Missin’ a Man” is about her now-husband, whom she left back home in Minnesota after moving to Nashville. “I wrote it wishing he was
here with me,” she says. “But it’s something everyone can relate to, like a wife waiting for a soldier to come home from the battlefront.
Everybody misses somebody at some point.”

“Lips on Mine” captures that longing and sensuality. “I’ve always done my best not to jump into a relationship too fast,” she says. “I never
wanted to look to a guy to try to fill the void left by my dad. Music fills that for me.”

“Wait for Me” is all about the patience needed in a notoriously competitive business like music. “I’m not only doing this for me, but for my
family,” she says. “I want them to be proud of me. It’s like finding your wings and preparing to fly.”

Keep an eye on Jenn Bostic as she starts to take off.

“I’m a big dreamer,” she admits. “Winning a Grammy is the ultimate goal. I’ve visualized it happening; next step is making that dream a
reality.”

With a little help from someone who continues watching over her shoulder.

“When I play ‘Angels,’ and people come up to me and tell me a story about losing a loved one, how the song touched them and helped
them heal, that means more to me than anything.”

"In the Sun," debuted at #89 on the Hot 100 Singles chart in its first week!

Former English teacher Mark Radcliffe grew up in Maine & Vermont and spent years as a writer
before turning his wordsmithing to music. Having now played venues all over the country, Mark is
steadily winning over new fans with his just-released album “The Sea Before Us, produced in
Hollywood by Rob Giles of The Rescues and mastered by Grammy-winner Gavin Lurssen.

Mark’s journey hasn’t been the typical path of most singer/ songwriters. He didn’t grow up in New
York, LA or Nashville. He wasn’t born to musician parents. Or enrolled in music classes from age five
and on. He didn’t go to Berkeley, or have an uncle in the record biz, or take lessons from Shawn
Mullins.

He grew up in a small town in Maine, spent all his time devoted to sports, and didn’t even pick up a
guitar until he was 17. And he worked for years as an English teacher & professional writer before
ever writing his first song. In a world of teenage American Idol winners, Mark was a late-bloomer. But
maybe that’s what the music world could use a little more of.

What he did have was 10 years of living in various cities in every corner of the country to draw from.
Hardship & heartbreak as a teacher working with troubled teens. Exploits as a traveling writer in
Europe. Star-crossed relationships. Epic road trips. Failed jobs. And a lot of hard-won knowledge of
the self. And he was always making music on the side. Constantly developing his love for melody.
Whether from the countless Beatles & Eagles albums his father played in the house growing up, or
the endless spins of U2, Crowded House & Indigo Girls in college, to the guitar riffs of Van Halen &
Joe Satriani, he always felt a good melody was the most sacred currency in the world. And so finally in
his late twenties, after a gradually evolving love-affair with song-writing, he wrote the songs that would
become his first CD, ALL I CAN REMEMBER, recorded in two days in small basement studio in
Portland, Oregon where he was living at the time.

Soon he switched his focus from writing to songwriting, playing in various nationally-recognized
venues like Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta, Club Passim in Boston, Mississippi Studios in Portland, OR, The
Living Room & Rockwood Music Hall in New York, and LA venues such as Genghis Cohen, the Room
5 Lounge, and the Knitting Factory in Hollywood. And then while living and playing regularly in LA,
Mark met Rob Giles, a singer in The Rescues, who would become his next producer & co-writer.
Finally in early 2009, he entered the studio with Rob & producing partner Rich Jacques to shape and
record the 11 songs that would comprise his first full-studio CD, THE SEA BEFORE US. Written during
his two years in Santa Monica, THE SEA BEFORE US blends acoustic pop-rock sensibilities with 70’s
California sweetness, a Beatles-esque knack for melody, and lyrics that explore the undulations of
romantic uncertainty and the quest for knowledge of the self. Mastered by Grammy-winner Gavin
Lurssen, THE SEA BEFORE US represents a giant leap forward in the career of an artist who has just
begun to spread his wings.
